Policies / Puppy Contract
Our priority as a top rated Ohio breeder of Mini Goldendoodles and Mini Bernedoodles is to give each puppy the best start in life and each family the healthiest puppy possible. With young puppies just starting to develop their little immune systems they are more susceptible to canine diseases which can easily be passed unknowingly to puppies by visitors. This is why we do not allow visitors until puppies are 6-8 weeks of age, by appointment only. With our puppies being raised in our home along side our family, it also posses a huge safety concern allowing random internet strangers into our home.
We also ask that you do not bring any pets to our home when picking out your new puppy. This is for the safety of all animals.
Puppies will be ready to join their new family and start their fun adventure once they are 8 weeks of age or older.
Puppy Selection Day
Puppy Selection starts between 6-7 weeks of age. We will go down the list, in order, of when reservations were placed and ask each family which puppy they would like to join their loving home. All families on our waiting list for a particular litter will receive private individual videos of all the available puppies from that particular litter to help narrow down your selection the week of our scheduled puppy selection day. You can either pick out your puppy in person, via phone/FaceTime, from provided videos or we are always happy to help you pick the best puppy for you and your loving family.
- Families are welcome to transfer their reservation fee to another puppy litter. When transferring to another litter or back to the master list you will be placed in the next available spot on that list. If asking to be transferred to an upcoming/future puppy waiting list or back to the Master list seven days or less prior to your litters selection day or anytime after selection day, you will lose your reservation fee and be required to place a new reservation fee ($300) to be placed back on the master list in the next available spot.
Scheduled Puppy Go Home/Pickup Day
Puppies will be ready to go home at 8 weeks of age, no sooner.
Puppy Go Home Day, will take place on a Saturday once puppy has reached 8 weeks of age. This will be by appointments only. Each family will have a 30min appointment on the announced scheduled Go Home Day.
- If you are not able to make your appointment time, let us know in advance. We are happy to help work something out. If you are a NO SHOW/NO CALL on your scheduled Selection Day/Go Home Day you will lose your reservation fee and your waitlist spot/puppy will be offered to the next family in line on our waiting list or posted to our social media as “Available”.
- All reserved puppies must be paid in full by original scheduled go home day. If traveling out of state by Nanny Service via ground\flight or flight per self, all puppies must be paid in full 1 week prior of travel.
- If requesting an extended stay either past original go home date or for a later travel date a $25 per day boarding fee will be applied.

Buckeye Doodles does not want to see any of our furry babies in a shelter of any kind. If you feel the need to return a puppy please contact us so we may come to a solution that is in the best interest of the puppy.
- Buckeye Doodles reserves the right in its sole discretion to revise, amend and administer this policy and/or make determinations deemed necessary for the health, well-being or overall good of our dogs.
